Welcome to Nova Scotia Geocaching. We are a resource for geocaching in Nova Scotia, promoting geocaching as a healthy and fun activity for people of all ages.

Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity, where you use a Global Positioning System (GPS) or phone to hide and seek containers, called “geocaches” or “caches”, anywhere in the world.

If you are a beginner, a traditional cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook (with a pen or pencil). When you find a geocache, look for the log, enter the date you found it and sign it with your geocaching name. After signing the log, you should place it back exactly where you found it, in as good condition, or better, than you found it.
